Tis Hallowmasses' e'en,

And round the holy green,

The fairy elves are seen,Tripping light.

 

They are the Seelie Court - the good faeries. - dancers and jesters, acrobats and fire folks. Raggle-taggle dancers in gold, green and red - frolicking, whirling in their rainbow summers dresses. Jesters in mad partchworks with battering sticks and bells on their motley coats and pointy hats. Fire folks bring swirling flame - weaving burning patterns in the chill night air.

 

...and all the while these lewd revels are attended and accompanied by the melodies and rhythms of the Summer Court musicians.
