Vivian's House This neothithic tomb is named for the faery woman, Vivian. She was the lady of the lake who lived in a crystal castle beneath the waters at Comper. She was born to the forest, the daughter of the Lord of Comper. . Vivian grew and in womanhood she raised a knight from the mirror waters, Lancelot of the Lake. She raised him as her foster-son and in time it was she who gave him his arms and watched him leave for Arthur's court at Camelot. A chateau still sits on the shores of the lake at Comper. Today it is home to a wonderful Arthurian Centre ~ Centre de l'Imaginaire arthurien, Comper-en-Broceliande Castle. |
